uni, work, and a one-way ticket...

Finally being settled in Perth (or any place) is a nice feeling. I have settled into my fourth week of uni (without text-books however, but managing to fluke my in-class essays) and have settled into my shifts at work. Selling clothes is easy and I am relishing a job that I don't have to deal with at home. I like walking away and leaving all thoughts and reponsibilities there. Dealing with a full-on job and full-time university, as well as maintaining an intimate relationship is not so easy, so that is why I like my current position...

Hurray, does this mean I am happy? Lets hope so!!

We booked our one-way tickets to Paris for late November. So it's officially on. We will move to Paris and let's hope I won't have to live out of a suitcase (hence the blog name, clever huh? :) forever. Let's hope that this is the last year of temporary residency! I will always be the 'Kangaroo with a Suitcase' but here's hoping that it will be for leisure and not for settlement.

Wish me luck! : )
